Summing Up Spring

Well . . . spring is a busy time. Sorry I have fallen so far behind on the updates. I will sum up the past month and half in pictures with a few words here and there. Margaret is growing up so fast and has hit many milestones in the past month. We are so very proud of our little girl (where did our baby go?)!!!

Very much likes Mommy's accessories . . . wears her beads every day if she can find them!

Fun Times with Cousin Hudson

Happy 60th Daddaddy!

Here we are at Phillips Toy Mart checking out the real bunnies.

Poor Margaret suffered through a few ear infections this spring which caused her right tear duct to clog up again, but after the infections cleared up so did her eye! So far so good--yay!

We ran into some friends at the Toy Mart and decided to spend the rest of the morning with them. We love Crosby and love to share swings with him!

Margaret's First Easter Egg Hunt at Cheekwood

It is so special and comforting for` us to see and hear all of the kids playing around James' tree. His tree is unfortunately out of this picture just a few feet to the right.

I give up! So there are eggs on the ground . . . big deal . . . what do you want me to do with them? I think I'll just do some yoga.

Downward Dog . . . I don't even need my hands.

Sweet Girl

In front of the Westminster Cross on Easter Morning

We placed a flower on the cross to remember sweet James.

On April 18, we participated in the March for Babies, an event to raise awareness and money for March of Dimes. We support March of Dimes and want research to continue so that more babies are born healthy. Our team raised over $1000 for March of Dimes. Thank you to all of our family and friends who contributed to our donation and/or participated in the walk. Your support means so much to us! I made two scrapbook pages of my precious children for the March of Dimes scrapbook.

I am so blessed to have this beautiful girl in my life!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Margaret started walking independently May 1st up at the Mountain House. Daddy was the first one to witness this wonderful milestone. I can't tell you how awesome it was to see this sweetheart walking to me when I got home from the grocery . . . so special!

So proud of herself!

Mother's Day 2010

Breakfast in bed / Church / Zoo
At the zoo . . .

What in the world is that?

She kept saying, "Dog?"

Margaret loved the fish!

She likes to read about the fish first. So intelligent!

Then she makes her observation.

Of course the playground was cool too!

What a wonderful Mother's Day!

Later that evening we celebrated with dinner at Grandma's.

Mama Susie was at the beach, so we gave her our Mother's Day kisses later that week!

And now let me show off my new walker . . .
